Eden Golan, Israel’s Representative in the Eurovision song competition was almost banned from the competition because her song, October Rain, was deemed to be “too political”.

 

October Rain is an emotionally charged, dramatic song about the events that took place on October 7, 2023. Eden was forced to change many of the lyrics in her “controversial” song. The new version, as performed on Eurovision is called, “Hurricane.”
