Yael's Bat Mitzvah

“Yael” was evacuated from her home on October 7th. She was scheduled to celebrate her bat mitzvah on October 10th, 2023. Because of the precarious circumstances, Yael was forced to postpone her celebration. In December 2023, Yael was able to have her party - although far from home, in an unfamiliar city.

 

IUCB volunteered to host a workshop at Yael’s party. 

 

The participants were so appreciative that they created this short video, using the modern version of “Am Yisrael Chai” as background music.
