About Penny

Penny Thau is the creator of The Israel Unity Charm Bracelet.

Penny was born on an air force base in  Mountain Home, Idaho. She moved from there to New York where she lived until she made aliyah to Beit Shemesh in 1998. Penny is the owner of and designer for Pninat Halev Personalized Sterling Silver and Judaica. Penny is also a certified social worker who specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy.

Penny says that she has had a soft spot for soldiers in the IDF ever since her oldest child enlisted.

​

Penny explains that, especially in times like these, it is hard to describe the mixed emotions of fear and pride that IDF soldiers' parents feel. One thing she knows is certain: Our soldiers' faith and determination are palpable... and definitely contagious!
